As the person who, as you know, started the first Healthypages thread on the issue of Helen trademarking the Sekhem name, I guess I was in the third camp that you haven't mentioned.  I was a practitioner of Sekhem, trained through an approved Sekhem master, who at the time was a member of the Helen Belot Sekhem association, but who had been informed that those she taught were able to use the name Sekhem and only needed to join the association if they were to be teachers of Sekhem (the principle being that the teachers would keep up to date with Helen's latest techniques and pass those on to their students, and being a member of the association was necessary for those teachers to keep up to date).  The issue came about when Helen trademarked the name and then issued in one of her newsletters (obtained via my teacher) that nobody was permitted to use the name unless they were members of the association and paid a yearly subscription for the privilege.  This was a total turnaround on what was previously understood and didn't make sense.  How can somebody who has trained in the sytem of Sekhem, have a certificate from a qualified and approved teacher stating that they are a Sekhem practitioner, suddenly not be able to call themselves a Sekhem practitioner unless they paid every year for the right to do so?  It was ludicrous and hence why I questioned, directly with Helen to confirm if that was correct or not.  The reply can be seen on the Healthypages thread.

In terms of the lineage, your evidence is not the only evidence.  My teacher also had the lineage passed down to her stating the same lineage you give above with yourself at the root.  She showed this lineage on her website along with copies of her certificates, in order to show her qualifications for her therapy practice.  As she told me, at some point Helen contacted her directly demanding that she remove the certificates from her website and also that she remove any lineage above herself.  My teacher complied at the time, but kept the manuals and lineage she had been given and showed me this at the time all the above troubles were kicking off.  When she subsequently tried to resubscribe to her yearly association membership, Helen apparently refused to take the payment and my teacher appeared on helens website as a 'lapsed master'.

In terms of those who who, on the Healthypages thread, appeared to be in direct contact with Helen who were, at the time, disapproving of the thread and what I had said on there, I have actually kept in occasional touch with them via email (or moreover they have with me) and, when Helen dissovled the association and prevented anybody from using the name Sekhem, they have certainly expressed their opinions of what happened in favour of my views on the situation and certainly not approvingly of Helens actions.

It's sad that it came to that situation and, as you say, Helen could very easily have distinguished her own flavour of Sekhem by trademarking it with her own name.  I feel that the way she went about things was not for the best of everybody who was using or teaching Sekhem.  What the motives were for feeling a need to control the name and logo of Sekhem in such a way, only Helen will know.  I just wish it had been left open and accessible for everybody to use as it was a good energy to learn (and still is, just that I can't call it Sekhem any more, hence I can't even credit it back to Helen).  I guess these things happen for a reason.

As for why Robert is saying what he's saying, I just don't know.  I don't think Helen was bullied into anything as he suggests, but that's my opinion, and he's entitled to his.

I was just thinking of the situation last night. What was coming to me was that even though I had been using word Sekhem long before Helen was even into  Energy Healing, she still felt that somehow she created the word Sekhem and some how owned it. In my last conversation with her I questioned her as to why she said the the things about me in her Sekhem book. She kept referring to my book , which I have never written and then said her memory was perfect and my whole experience with her was not correct.

I am referring to her statement in her book , where she states that the Sekhem energy she was channeling was so strong, she said I asked her to stop. This was not my experience at all, so I called her and asked her why she would say something that was not true. She insisted it was her experience, even though it never happened.

All I can say is that Helen must just be either experiencing some alternate reality or she is just purposely not telling the truth.

Considering the way she has completely dropped out  and has even cut ties with some of her closest friends, my  feeling is that she must be going through a very tough emotional and mental  time. I felt this very strongly in my last post to the Healthy-pages forum on the discussion of the Sekhem trademark.  That was I felt it was a good time to end the discussion at that time.

Now that Helen is no longer creating and promoting false information, I do feel it is important to get out  the most correct information possible.

There are still a few of her teachers still using the old info, but most have opened up and changed their view points. 

I do find that is ludicrous that Helen would state that she is the Lineage bearer of Sekhem , when it says otherwise in her own manual, but really I do feel that she was just not right in her own mind in these last few years. Now the issue is people that take these stories and perpetuate them on the Internet.

Robert Elliot's comment is a good example. On one of his earlier webpages, he makes a comment about Helen deleting all of the Sekhem lineage above her and says he does not agree with it.

Then on his new webapage www.Sekhem.com he states the opposite.

That Helen Belots's Sekhem has no connection  to Patrick Zeigler.

He even does his best to explain that Her Sekhem comes from the Sirius star system and

Patrick's Sekhem energy comes from the Pleiades. We all have our opinions on this this, but it is really just more of an attempt to provide as much misinformation to promote his his own healing practice.

Robert also makes the same claim about Karuna Reiki and Blue Star Celestial Energy, not having any connection to Patrick Zeigler or Seichim.

It is very well documented now about the Seichim connection to Tera Mai and the Connection Karuna Reiki has had to Tera Mai.  Robert's proof  that there is no connection was a court document that both William Rand and Kathleen Milner both Signed stating that what they both teach is separate. Considering the whole court case was started over William using her symbols and he was teaching her system. The document was only signed to keep the peace and let them both go their separate ways. Basically it was just a legal document to keep the lawyers and courts happy.

The Blue Star Celestial Energy was only taught By Garry Jurack one of the early Seichim Masters. As far as I know Garry no longer teaches, but many keep teaching the system, just like many keep teaching the older Seichim system.Its basically just another flavor to put on your resume'

The Sekhem energy stream works great without all of the attached systems many people have added to it.

But what people love to do is add new symbols or call it by a different name.

This is one reason why we are putting together the Seichim Reunion in Egypt 2012.

This way we can get all the flavors together!

Robert Elliott just did the latest update of his Sekhem.com. He seems to be really grasping to come up with something to prove his theories.

Here is what is from his

Helen Belôt started to learn Seichim with Deepa Slater. At this time Deepa had not started teaching Seichim at the Masters level. Deepa did not start teaching at Masters level until many years after she first knew Helen as she felt that she wanted more experience of the power of the energy before teaching at Masters level. Helen Belôt completed her Seichim training with Phoenix Summerfield who was the teacher of Deepa’s Seichim teacher. Subsequently Phoenix Summerfield issued a written statement confirming Helen Belôt as her official Seichim lineage bearer. A copy of that statement was hung on the wall of Helen Belôt’s treatment room in Australia. Extracts from that statement will in due course be posted to this website. The complete statement cannot be reproduced in the public domain as my copy has Phoenix’s handwritten comments all over it which refer to other people.

The existence of this document dispels the myth that Helen tried some clever marketing stunt by rebranding Seichim as Sekhem because she was never a bona fide Seichim Master. She was a genuine Seichim Master and was Phoenix Summerfield’s official Seichim lineage bearer and had no need to rebrand Seichim as Sekhem.

This statement is not true at all Margot was the First Seichim Teacher in Australia .

In Sept/Oct 1991 Deepa completed her Traditional Reiki Master and Seventh Facet Seichim Training with

Marsh Burack in Encinidas California.

Deepa  then returned to teach in Australia in 1992. In her first classes were Mary Shaw and Helen Belot.

This is when Helen first connected tot he Sekhem energy.  There was a disagreement that Deepa had with Helen and then Deepa refused to train Helen any longer.

Helen then went to meet Marsha to learn Seichim Directly with her, but Marsha also refused and sent her talk to Phoenix. She then was taught Seichim directly from Phoenix.

In 1994 when Phoenix arrived in Australia , she was Diagnosed with cancer and went to the hospital for its removal. She was also thrown into the battle between Deepa and Helen.  She sided with Helen at that time and wrote up a letter confirming her as the Seichim representative in Australia. She also demanded Deepa stop using the name Seichim, which Deepa already had trademarks on.

This is when Phoenix and Helen then got together to rename Seichim to Sekhem and Helen became a Master in 1994.When I meet Phoenix in 1996 in Hawaii , she handed me a letter from  Helen that had her Logo on it.

She felt betrayed by Helen, as Helen had taken her design and just colored it in and called it her own.

She gave me the letter and said keep it you will need this someday. She said she made a huge mistake in Australia and not to trust anyone in Australia!

Wow, so much reading, and I see a couple of postings between you and G I need to catch up on as well. It's a shame that anyone feels they have to "Own" anything. There are so many quotes I could type with regards to the more you give the more something grows or the more you receive in return. I agree with you Patrick that this energy is a heart energy. I am a walking heart and everything I do goes from me, through my heart center and to all around me and everything I get in return I filter through my heart. I remember when I first walked into your shop in, oh I think 1995 or 1996?, I sat down and felt dizzy :-) Remember how I had to lay down before falling down? LOL I was so sensitive to all the energy and the new exposure was overwhelming. It flowed so gently and so naturally and you were so giving and guiding with it for everyone. I'm so happy to see how much it has grown for you. I've never understood those who say you can only learn something from them. I'm about experience and growth. The more you experience the more you grow and the more you do this with others the more they grow with you and the more the energy grows as you/they/the planet/and all grow. :-) I can't wait to attend my first group with you in 14 years and the new individuals I will be meeting next week. I can't wait to see how it has grown, how you've grown, and how they and I will respond to how the energy has grown and changed.

I tend to shy away from people who tell me they own rites to this and that and I can only get this or that from them. Yes, maybe only their vibration of what they have to offer, but there are many vibrations of LOVE and it is intended to be as such for all to share in that ultimate connection when each vibration is brought to meet others to create pieces of the WHOLE.

I'm disappointed or sad for those who miss the bigger picture, however I'm very excited for next week :-)
