Sekhem – Lineage Guidance
This Notice is for the attention of anybody who has been trained in Helen Belot’s combined Reiki, Seichim and Sekhem system within the lineage downwards from myself. The date of posting is November 2006.
Background to the Notice
My training manual for Helen Belot’s Reiki / Seichim/ Sekhem system was written in 2001/02. We are now five years on from then. In that time, some of the people in the lineage above us have moved on with what they are doing. In the lineage beneath me I have been receiving reports that not all the original teachings have been passed down and of some other issues arising. This guidance notice therefore is intended to give both an information update about what has been going on within the lineage and also to ask that on some matters we can work to a standard external presentation within the lineage.
The Lineage above us
At the start of our lineage tree, Patrick Zeigler is very active currently in his teaching work. Patrick is teaching in a different way these days to the style of a traditional attunement workshop. His present day workshops create the environment in which energies of a more generic nature flow in freely and can be received by the participants direct and not through him. The energies raised in his workshops facilitate healing amongst the participants. Sometimes participants receive spontaneous initiations into the energies. Further down the lineage, Marsha Burack is teaching Seichim with her colleague Shashala in a way that incorporates both the traditional attunement approach and Patrick’s current way of teaching. In Australia, Deepa Slater had the intention of moving into retirement and reducing the amount of teaching that she was
doing. The way in which she integrated the energies into self development and behavioural change programmes was leading edge work so any retirement on her part would have been a loss to the healing community. However, it seems that too many people are finding their way to her and the Warts and All programme to let her retire so she is still doing her work. Also in Australia, Helen Belot is still running the Sekhem Association. The trademarked name these days is the Helen Belot Sekhem Association. I understand that she no longer teaches Reiki and Seichim so is therefore not teaching now from the same manual that she passed to me and which I have passed down the lineage. Additionally, Helen has written a book called ‘The Sekhem Story’. This narrates how she got to where she is with Sekhem and of her experiences with Sekhem. It is my understanding that elsewhere within Helen’s lineage people learning Sekhem these days might be shown the lineage tree starting with Helen. I would ask please that members of the lineage beneath me could continue to present to their students the full lineage tree in my training manual which starts with Patrick Zeigler and which includes the Deepa Slater leg so that we do not lose the record of all the people from Patrick down to ourselves who have contributed to helping us to get to where we
are now.

The Seichim energy that Helen taught was the energy that came down from Patrick Zeigler and Helen has always acknowledged Patrick Zeigler as the Head of Lineage for that, the definition of Lineage in this context being an unbroken chain of one to one energy empowerments. Helen Belôt’s Sekhem energy has no such direct connection with any experience that Patrick Zeigler has had in the Great Pyramid or elsewhere. Patrick Zeigler had no involvement with the initial channelling of Helen Belôt’s Sekhem energy.
My rebuttal
So even though Patrick Zeigler is at the Head of Robert Elliott's Sekhem Linage in 2006 he still claims that Patrick Zeigler has had no involvement in the initial Development of Helen Belot Sekhem. Do I need to say more?
The comments that Helen Belôt stole Phoenix Summerfield’s logo and used it for her own Sekhem logo are incorrect. A copy of correspondence between Helen and Phoenix regarding the logo will be posted to this website so that people can see the truth for themselves. That correspondence was submitted to the USA trademarking authorities as part of the response to Helen Belôt’s application to trademark the word Sekhem there.
Yes, lets see that correspondence. I have it right here, where it will not be placed out of context. I was handed this letter directly by Phoiex Summerfield and we had a long discussion about it.
This letter was the property of Phoienx Summerfield written by Helen Belot in 2.12.95, We were scheduled to meet again in January 96in Hawaii.
I went to Hawaii to for a class and while I was there I meet with Phoenix Summerfield. I was also to have met with Helen Belot. Up to this point we were all working together to create a Sekhem Community. At this time I was unaware of any problems or difficulty in the SEKHEM community I did have a meeting ealier with Helen and we did discuss our different teaching methods, our meeting went well which is discussed in the letter. Phoenix was in the process of using the SEKHEM spelling and Helen had already started to use the Egyptian Spelling because of differences with her teacher Margot Deepa Slater. In a statement by Deepa "she trained Helen Belot in 1992 and after an incident refused to continue to train her in what Deepa called New Life Seichim." Deepa had the same claim as Helen that her New Life Seichim was a changed Vibration. When they were on good terms here is Helen's comment about Seichim.
This is almost the identical to the Description of Sekhem used today.
I learned Helen Belôt’s Sekhem direct from her which is in contrast to a lot of the people making comments about her Sekhem on the internet who have never learned it or experienced it.
