Good evening friends,
I joined this wonderful network a few days ago now and I am still trying to get my head around the site.
My first foray into the world of "hands" on healing was through the energy of Sekhem over 10 years ago. It was a pretty profound introduction I must say! I have moved on since then to incorporate many different energy streams, and one of the reasons I chose to do this was because I was constantly hearing how one particular modality was the only one of any worth, or that it was higher, faster or better than anything else. It is my experience that this is not the case, and that the Universal Panacea simply does not exist.
I also wish to warn you all that I am a completely free thinker. I am still trying to find my own path in life and my own truth and believe strongly that the only "right" way to do something is the way that is right for you. In fact, the only way to guarantee that I do something is to put "don't" in front of it!!! I don't do conventional ways of thinking or doing and am wholly attracted by the different. I am also a big fan of the modern try it and see approach rather than the traditional ways of doing things.
I look forward to getting to know you all,
Best wishes,
Mandy |

Hi Mandy
Welcome to the community.
Most of us here have had a strong connection to the SKHM energies.
Your warning will be noted and we will certainly keep an eye on you. As free thinking can get you in all sorts of trouble around here : ).
I do feel most of us here are also free thinkers and not so inclined to join a group that would suppress that aspect of who we are.
One of the reason there are so many variations of SeKHeM is because it has been encourage from the beginning to connect with who you are and express it. There have been a few teachers along the way that have attempted to control it, but most no longer teach now.
It has been quite a journey for many of us here. I know it has been for me.
A very big welcome to Mandy! and all of our new members. I do encourage all of our members to introduce yourselves, it also great to have a photo of yourself in your profile as well as a good description.
All Love
